I peel , devain and rinse my shrimp no matter what size. Why? I think it’s more the thought of what I’m about to eat then what it could do to me or the taste of the shrimp.
Then I can easily sauté them in butter with a tiny bit of garlic over some angel hair pasta...I can taste it now
Serves 6 Total Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
2 tablespoons chopped shallots
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic
Directions:
2 pounds fresh raw medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, rinsed
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill weed
Hot cooked angel hair pasta...enough for 6
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill weed
Hot cooked angel hair pasta...enough for 6
Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling; add shallots and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes or until shallots are softened. Add shrimp; cook, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Stir in parsley, lemon and dill weed. Continue cooking 2-3 minute or until flavors are blended. Serve over hot cooked pasta. Yum Yum!
